Dr. Kristi Linsenmayer Image - Seattle Kids Dentistry

“I love what I do! As a pediatric dentist, I get to help families learn about the importance of good oral health, and we know that children with good oral health habits invariably become adults with good oral health habits. We work together so that the experience of going to the dentist remains a positive one – for the child and family.”

Dr.
Kristi Linsenmayer

Pediatric Dentist DDS, MPH, MSD

Dr. Linsenmayer is a board-certified pediatric dentist. She has practiced dentistry for almost 30 years. Raised in the Pacific Northwest she earned both a BS degree in Molecular Biology and a DDS degree from the University of Washington. After practicing dentistry as a general dentist for a decade at the Seattle Indian Health Board, an Urban American Indian/ Alaska Native (AI/AN) clinic, she returned to the University of Washington and completed training in Pediatric Dentistry. In conjunction with the pediatric dental residency program, she also received a Master’s degree in Public Health (MPH). The program was part of the Maternal and Child Health Bureau’s leadership training in pediatric dentistry. She has established two busy pediatric dental offices that she owns in Seattle and Southeast Alaska.

Her practice now is in Ketchikan, a small Southeast Alaska community in the heart of the Tonguss National Rainforest. Geographically, it is north of Vancouver Island with similar weather to the Pacific Southeast, and very different from the snowy tundra of what we might picture Alaska to be.
